OPSIM 4.2 Released

27/08/2024

The download for OPSIM 4.2 is now available to all current users. Highlights are a new feature for creating simulation model templates (so you can quickly create a model from a checked & approved starting point), some tweaks to flow control to improve readability in complex models, and add support for comments, and a new report to compare duration/delay between scenarios on a single plot.

Change Log

  • Added facility for creating simulation model templates that can be stored locally, on a network drive, or by Global Maritime.
  • Added new Scenario Comparison Plot report to compare duration, delay or cost between different scenarios on one plot/table.
  • Added option to Average Cause of Delay by Month report to restrict calculation of averages to just those simulations whose overall duration fell within a specified percentile range.
  • Added new forecast option, Opportunity Count, which will provide the number of opportunities within the specified forecast duration to carry out a certain activity.
  • Added option to record comments in flow control to explain logic / intention & shading to make loop/switch grouping clearer.
  • Added option to logger block to log in response to changes to the logged values, rather than at regular intervals.
  • Bugfix for Metocean Geo Proxy not working with forecasts.
  • Bugfix for a state machine potentially getting stuck in the "after" delay following a transition due to rounding errors leaving an infinitesimal amount of delay.
