GMoor 10.5.6 Released

17/08/2023

We are pleased to announce that GMOOR 10.5.6 is now available to all eligible users. We are working on some significant enhancements at the calculation level which will take some more time, but this release provides a few bugfixes and user-requested features including the Ochi-Hubble wave spectrum and the ability to generate a catenary plot which corresponds to the minimum clearance case.

Improvements

  • Added option to Catenary Plot to select the case corresponding to the minimum clearance found.
  • Added option to CVF Report to allow for coefficients and RAOs to be plotted for all headings and not just a subset.
  • Added support for Ochi-Hubble wave spectrum.
  • When using environment tables, if the input heading is exactly halfway between two entries in the tables, it will now select the more conservative values.
  • LFTD Multi Seed reports now include output for dynamic tensions (separated into separate tables for LFmax+WFsig and LFsig+WFmax, where applicable).
  • Increased maximum allowable natural period (~6000s) and improved the way in which the user is informed if this limit is exceeded.

Bug Fixes

  • LFTD Multi Seed Summary Tensions was not grouping the different seeds and just outputting a table per seed with zero standard deviations – fixed.
  • Multiple clearance objects could sometimes lead to batches failing with a spurious “Identical checksum but different worlds” error – fixed.
  • Fix for iterative updating of polynomial stiffness when line solution scheme set to Intermediate Grounding.
