We are pleased to announce that GMoor 10.4.1 is now available to all current customers, containing several new features and bug fixes.

Improvements

  • Extended point curve option to allow for calculation of height above seabed as an alternative to height above anchor.
  • Added new option for selecting between Rayleigh and Stansberg extreme value distributions for evaluation of maximum low-frequency motions when solving in the frequency domain. Previously this was always Rayleigh except where the selected mooring code was POSMOOR.
  • Added option to export multi-layer DXF of spread pattern from a selection of database results.
  • Added new database field which captures the fairlead tension associated with maximum low-frequency and significant wave-frequency motions. This field is now used by the LFTD multi-seed reports to calculate most probable maximum tensions. Previously in some cases the overall maximum tension might have been associated with a maximum wave frequency motion and not that of second order motions.
  • Added new database field “Tag” to both analysis configuration and spread records to be used by scripting in order to later identify certain cases.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix to calculation of offset in Quasi Static Offsets Report within certain sectors.
  • The “Make Interactive” button from the database management window was not working for buoy failure cases.
  • Minimum reserve for DNV-OS-E301 pre-2018 was applying the rule that fixes the partial safety factors to 1.3 in the case where the ratio of dynamic to mean tensions exceeds 2/3rds even in damaged cases, which was not correct, this should only apply to intact spreads.
